This new homeowner took the plunge and acquired a Winston-Salem landmark. With a love of its rich history and an eye towards creative solutions, this project was as much treasure hunt as update. Working with carpenters to painstakingly renovate the space, we brought it back to a level of refinement long past. Changes were both reflective of the client’s creative sense of fun, as well as serendipitous. Mixing funky patterns and furnishings with magical relics like original sconces stuffed in the basement, the house took on a new, energized life— connecting it’s long, historic past with an upbeat, artful future.
